POWERNEEMA®
POWERNEEMA® is a high-strength HMPE synthetic rope designed for ship mooring and demanding marine operations. Its lightweight construction provides a high strength-to-weight ratio, while low elongation and high dimensional stability support controlled handling and reliable performance under working loads.
Compared with conventional steel wire, HMPE rope offers significant weight savings without compromising the strength required for demanding mooring applications. POWERNEEMA® is available in application-specific constructions and can be engineered to meet the requirements of different vessel types, mooring arrangements, and operating environments.- Construction: 8-Strand & 12-Strand

Why Choose HMPE for Ship Mooring?
High Strength-to-Weight Ratio
HMPE provides high breaking strength with substantially lower line weight than conventional steel wire rope, reducing the physical burden of handling and installation.
Low Line Weight
The low density of HMPE makes the rope significantly lighter than steel wire and allows the rope to float.
Low Elongation
Low elongation supports controlled line behavior under working loads and makes HMPE suitable for mooring arrangements where limited stretch is required.
Corrosion-Free Fiber Construction
Unlike steel wire rope, HMPE does not rust, reducing concerns associated with corrosion and lubrication.
Abrasion and UV Resistance
FBR specifies excellent abrasion, UV, and chemical resistance for POWERNEEMA®, supporting use in demanding marine environments.
