POWERNEEMA® WITH POLYESTER JACKET
POWERNEEMA® WITH POLYESTER JACKET is an HMPE mooring rope with a braided polyester protective jacket, designed for vessel applications where high strength, low elongation, and additional external protection are required.
The HMPE core provides the rope’s primary tensile strength, while the polyester jacket shields the load-bearing structure from direct abrasion, repeated handling wear, and contact with fairleads, chocks, winches, and other mooring equipment.
This core-and-jacket construction is suited to demanding mooring arrangements where protecting the HMPE strength member and maintaining consistent rope handling are important selection considerations.

When Should You Choose POWERNEEMA® with Polyester Jacket?
Choose this construction when the mooring system requires the high strength and low elongation of an HMPE core together with a polyester protective outer surface for repeated handling and external wear exposure.
It is particularly relevant where the rope will experience frequent contact with mooring hardware or where protecting the HMPE strength member from direct surface wear is an important design consideration.
TIPS: The braided polyester jacket serves as an external protective layer around the HMPE load-bearing core. Its primary function is to reduce direct exposure of the strength member to abrasion, handling wear, and localized contact with mooring equipment.
While, the jacket does not eliminate the need for proper rope inspection, chafe management, and equipment compatibility checks.
