FBR (Four Brothers Rope) originated from a family rope-making workshop founded by Changfu Li in 1958. Over three generations, it has grown into a globally recognized manufacturer of high-performance synthetic fiber ropes. Today, FBR serves the offshore, maritime, and fisheries sectors with reliable, innovative solutions, backed by decades of technical expertise and manufacturing excellence.
ORIGIN
Our founders handcrafted ropes from natural plant fibers.
INDUSTRIALIZATION
We established our first factory and began industrial production.
POWERNYLON®
FBR developed the POWERNYLON® rope, which quickly defined the standard for the shipping industry.
POWERDAN®
FBR developed the POWERDAN® polypropylene rope for fishing and aquaculture.
POWERNEEMA®
FBR developed the POWERNEEMA® UHMWPE rope for critical mooring operations.
MARITIME DIVISION
We established the Maritime Department to serve the global shipping market.
