POWERDAN™
POWERDAN™ is an 8- and 12-strand PP/PE polyolefin mooring rope designed for vessel applications where low rope weight, buoyancy, flexibility, and practical handling are important.
With a density of approximately 0.92 g/cm³, POWERDAN™ floats in water, helping reduce line weight during deployment, recovery, and routine mooring operations. Its high-tenacity polyolefin construction provides a practical balance of strength, flexibility, abrasion resistance, and marine durability.
POWERDAN™ is suitable for primary and secondary ship mooring, port and terminal berthing, and selected H-bitt, capstan, bollard, and winch-based mooring arrangements. Rope diameter, LDBF, line length, elongation, termination, and equipment compatibility should be selected according to the vessel and mooring system.
