OFFSHORE ROPE TYPES
FBR offers a comprehensive range of high-performance synthetic fiber ropes for offshore mooring, single point mooring, heavy lifting and installation applications. Choose the right rope type around the function it performs within the mooring or lifting system.

HMPE Mooring Ropes — High strength at low weight, with low elastic elongation for mooring designs that require high axial stiffness.

Polyester Mooring Ropes — Elastic compliance, good tension fatigue performance, and low creep under typical mooring loads for long-term stationkeeping.

Single Point Mooring Hawsers — Jacketed nylon ropes combine strength and elastic stretch for dynamically loaded vessel connections. End fittings and flotation are configured for the installation.

Heavy Lifting Slings — LIFTMAX™ uses 12-strand braided HMPE rope, while LIFTMAX™ Plus uses an endless parallel-core construction with a protective cover. Both provide lightweight, flexible rigging options for specified lifting arrangements.
