POWERMONO™
POWERMONO™ is an 8- and 12-strand polypropylene monofilament mooring rope designed for general vessel mooring applications where low line weight, buoyancy, firm handling, and practical wet-service performance are important.
Made from relatively larger polypropylene monofilaments, POWERMONO™ has a density of approximately 0.91 g/cm³ and floats in water. Its monofilament construction provides a firmer rope profile while maintaining lightweight handling and stable strength and elongation characteristics in wet service.
POWERMONO™ is suitable for general ship mooring, port and terminal berthing, coastal-vessel mooring, and selected secondary mooring arrangements. Final selection should consider required strength or LDBF, line length, abrasion and UV exposure, deck equipment, and the vessel’s operating conditions.
