POWER-MIXED™ RRR
POWER-MIXED® RRR is a 12-strand polyester-polyolefin mixed-fiber mooring rope engineered to reduce recoil risk if the line fails under tension.
The rope incorporates an integrated elastic component within its mixed-fiber construction. During a line-failure event, this component is designed to absorb part of the energy released as the load-bearing structure separates, helping reduce the tendency toward sudden catastrophic recoil.
With a density below 1 g/cm³, POWER-MIXED® RRR floats and provides practical handling for vessel mooring applications where balanced rope performance and reduced-recoil-risk behavior are both required.

Does Reduced Recoil Mean Zero Snap-Back?
No.
Reduced-recoil characteristic is intended to reduce recoil risk, it does not eliminate the hazards associated with tensioned mooring lines.
Recoil behavior depends on the rope, line length, tension, construction, termination, and the overall mooring arrangement. Safe working practices, exclusion zones, inspection, maintenance, and crew training remain essential.
