POWERESTER™
POWERESTER™ is an 8- and 12-strand polyester rope designed for commercial fishing and aquaculture applications where abrasion resistance, dimensional stability, controlled elongation, and dependable wet-service performance are important.
With a density of approximately 1.38 g/cm³, POWERESTER™ sinks in water and provides stable rope behavior in marine environments. Polyester maintains consistent strength and elongation characteristics in wet and dry conditions, making it suitable for applications requiring predictable performance over extended service periods.
POWERESTER™ is suitable for selected applications including trawl and bridle lines, purse seine lines, aquaculture cage mooring and structural lines, fishing-vessel mooring, and fishing-gear working lines.

Choose POWERESTER™ when the application requires a sinking rope with controlled elongation, good abrasion resistance, dimensional stability, and predictable wet-service performance.
Polyester is particularly suitable where stable rope behavior is more important than the buoyancy of polyolefin, the maximum strength-to-weight ratio of HMPE, or the greater elasticity of nylon.
Consider POWERNEEMA® where very high strength and very low elongation are required, POWERDAN™ where buoyancy and lightweight handling are priorities, and POWERNYLON™ where higher elasticity and energy absorption are needed.
