Blue Circle brings extensive expertise in marine waste management and circular economy solutions. The company is a recipient of the United Nations Champions of the Earth Award and has developed innovative systems such as the Smart Ocean Cloud Warehouse, enabling efficient large-scale processing of marine waste. Its recycling infrastructure includes the world’s largest marine plastic recycling facility, known as the Ocean Factory, supporting closed-loop recycling at industrial scale.

Key Areas of Cooperation

The partnership will focus on three strategic areas:

1. Alignment with International Sustainability Frameworks
Blue Circle will support FBR’s engagement with international sustainability initiatives, including participation in the United Nations Global Compact (UNGC) and its sustainable supply chain framework. FBR will continue integrating international environmental and social responsibility principles into its operations and supply chain practices.

2. Circular Solutions for Marine Rope Recycling
Both companies will collaborate on the recovery, processing, and reuse of end-of-life marine ropes. By establishing standardized collection systems and professional recycling processes, the partnership aims to develop a scalable circular economy model that addresses marine rope pollution and supports ocean protection and biodiversity conservation.

3. Market Collaboration for Sustainable Products
Through shared resources and complementary expertise, FBR and Blue Circle will explore high-value applications for recycled marine materials in domestic and international markets. The cooperation will support the development of greener rope products that combine environmental responsibility with reliable performance for demanding marine applications.

From Strategy to Action

By aligning with global sustainability standards, advancing marine rope recycling, and promoting environmentally responsible products, FBR continues to translate its sustainability strategy into practical action. The company remains focused on delivering solutions that support safety, efficiency, and long-term value for customers while contributing to the protection of the marine environment.
