POWERTWIST™ 3-4-6 STRANDS
POWERTWIST™ is a configurable 3-, 4-, and 6-strand twisted synthetic rope for commercial fishing, aquaculture, and general marine working applications.
Available in polypropylene, polyethylene, high-performance polyolefin, polyester, polyamide (nylon), and selected mixed-fiber constructions, POWERTWIST™ can be configured to provide different combinations of buoyancy, flexibility, elongation, abrasion resistance, and handling characteristics.
Its conventional twisted construction is well suited to selected applications such as net rigging and support lines, fishing-gear working lines, aquaculture cage and farm working lines, small-vessel utility lines, and general-purpose fishing operations. Final rope selection should be based on the required fiber, strength, buoyancy, elongation, diameter, and operating environment.

When to Choose a Braided Rope Instead？
Twisted rope is a practical choice for many general fishing, aquaculture and working-line applications. For systems requiring torque-balanced behavior, frequent winch or sheave cycling, or specialized high-load mooring performance, an 8-/12-strand or braided construction may be more appropriate.
