On May 9, We (Four Brothers Rope) signed a donation agreement with the Education Development Foundation of Shanghai Jiao Tong University, officially establishing the “FBR Scholarship” at its Minhang campus.

Through this initiative, we aim to support outstanding undergraduate and postgraduate students from the School of Naval Architecture, Ocean and Civil Engineering, helping nurture future talent in marine engineering, offshore technology, and advanced materials.
Investing in the Next Generation
As part of our ongoing ESG commitment, we believe that supporting education is essential to building a more sustainable and innovative industry.
With the launch of this scholarship, we seek to:
- Encourage young talent to pursue careers in offshore and marine engineering
- Support the integration of academic research with real-world engineering applications
- Contribute to innovation in high-performance materials and rope technologies
- Help develop future professionals capable of addressing complex global challenges
During the ceremony, representatives from the university expressed their appreciation and highlighted the importance of long-term collaboration between academia and industry in advancing engineering education.

Strengthening Industry–Academia Collaboration
At the event, we shared our journey in the rope and offshore engineering sector, as well as our ongoing focus on high-performance synthetic rope solutions and material innovation.
We see partnerships with leading institutions like Shanghai Jiao Tong University as a key pathway to bridging engineering practice with academic research, creating long-term value for both industry and society.
Following the signing, we visited the university’s underwater engineering laboratory and exchanged ideas on future collaboration in offshore engineering and applied research.

Our Commitment to ESG and Long-Term Impact
As a company dedicated to high-performance synthetic rope solutions serving offshore, maritime, fisheries, heavy lifting, and other demanding industrial applications, we are committed not only to technological innovation, but also to sustainable and responsible growth.
The establishment of this scholarship reflects our broader commitment to:
- Supporting education and talent development
- Advancing engineering innovation
- Contributing to a more sustainable marine and offshore industry
We believe that investing in people is investing in the future of our industry. Through initiatives like this, we will continue to support the next generation of engineers and contribute to long-term, sustainable development.
